Armenian Heritage Foundation
Armenian Heritage Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, is the sponsor of Armenian Heritage Park on The Greenway, Boston.
Spearheaded in 2000 by the efforts of then Massachusetts House of Representatives Peter J. Koutoujian and Rachel Kaprielian, the Armenian Heritage Foundation was founded in 2004 to invested resources in the Park's design and development, and raise funds to build the Park and establish endowed fund to support the Annual Reconfiguration of the Abstract Sculpture, Park's Care and Maintenance, Public Programs at the Park and the Lecture on Human Rights at Faneuil Hall.
A gift to the City of Boston and Commonwealth of Massachusetts from Armenian-Americans, the Park is funded by the generous support of individuals, parishes and organizations. The initial gift to launch the fund raising campaign was received from the Knights of Vartan, Ararat Lodge.
